Dating Tips For Animal Lovers!
Did you know that experts say the way people treat their pets is indicative of how they'll treat you in a relationship? Minus the sex and relationship talk, having a pet is very similar to a romantic relationship. A pet needs to be cared for, fed, bathed and loved, just like it's human counter part. As mentioned in my book "the Ultimate Online Dating Handbook" most often if someone is loving and kind to their pet they will likely be so in a romantic relationship as well. But on the other side of the coin, if someone tends to be domineering and pushy with their pet, you can pretty much expect the same thing with your relationship.
People who have and love pets will usually look for a mate who has that same quality. And pet owners will often judge people based on how they treat their pet. If someone continually yells and howlers or strikes at their pet it is generally concluded that this person needs anger management classes. These people will usually have animals that cower and even shake at their site.
There are also those who consider their pet to be just like people. These people will do things like feed their dog from the table. Sometimes this can show an unwillingness or an inability to say no. Or what about the person who over accessorizes and spoils their pet. They could be overcompensating for something not found in their life. It may show this person to be shallow and superficial. Their pet may be nothing more than an accessory to them. They are in constant need of external approval.
If you are someone who really loves their pet then it is best to find a mate who also loves animals. Usually problems occur when someone who is not fond of pets tries to have a relationship with a pet lover. If your new lover is jealous of your pet it will be a real problem. Most likely it is the relationship and not the pet. Generally these same people who are jealous of pets are also grumpy about their partner's work workplace, friends and time alone. This person can be attention seeking and insecure.
Are you an animal lover with a new lover? If so, watch for the scenarios above and choose a new mate both you and fido can love.
Good Luck! Marie Clare
